Label Obsessed Much

I found some labels for Flour, Sugar and Powdered Sugar that I liked online a couple months ago, but for 3 they wanted $7 plus shipping. I am a cheapo!
I have a lot of jars and wanted labels on all of them so ever since then, I've been working on labels, labels, labels! And can I just say that I am in love with my Cricut? I LOVE that thing.
I liked all the swirly doo dads around the words and that is what took me the longest to find. I had to go through a ton of fonts and .svg files to find all of them!
But finally, I did and I LOVE how they turned out!
After I printed them and put them on today, I found that I just sat in my kitchen and stared at them for awhile. I feel very content and in a very weird sort of way more organized. Does it make sense? Nope, not one bit, I didn't clean anything or sort anything. Just slapped some words on jars, but I like it. :)

I got the laundry room jars at Walmart for really cheap, the food storage jars are all from The Container Store and I've had them for 10 years, so I have no idea if they still sell them. But they are wonderful if they do!

  1. K, when did you get the cricut? I love the labels, I just did the exact same thing in my laundry room! I am at the point where I'm wondering how much vinyl is too much in a room.

  2. Ha! I'm having a craft-affair with my silhouette and have been going nuts, too, with the labels. Kind of in love, but I so get the "I feel more organized thing."

  3. Thanks Nike! That gives me validation! :)

Brit, Dave got me the cricut for Christmas...I know what you mean about how much vinyl is too much vinyl, but I figure it is a temporary thing and if I decide one day that I am tired of it, it peels right off, right? So no harm, no foul. Or at least that is what I keep telling myself.
