Spring Subway Art Board

This was a fun little craft project I made today.  The vinyl came from Chatty Walls, I got a board of 3/4" MDF, and cut a 16"x16" square, and then a 5'X5" square for the center.  I used my router on the edges of both slightly.

The paint colors I used are Valspar's Simply Aqua.  Mainly because I bought a gallon of it for the project prior to this and didn't even put a dent in it!  Hehe.  The center block is painted White and inked on the edges with a Walnut color.  Then I just hot glued the center board to the big board and hot glued a daisy on the center of that.  Anyway, it was fun and a little different then the mainly rectangular subway art that is out there floating around .  :)

  1. I love the dimension that the extra block gave the project. It was fun and super easy :)
