St. Patrick's Day/Spring/Easter Crafts

This past week I have been crafting like a mad woman!  This is about half of what I made.  I decided I didn't like much of my spring decor, and decided to chuck the circa 1995-2010 stuff and start fresh with a bunch of fun designs.  I only had a couple St. Patrick's Day things to begin with, so I decided to whip up a couple more.  These two designs are from Burton Avenue.  She does the cutest things and has freebie Fridays.  So if you aren't following her, please do!  You are missing out.
Both the Luck and this block above are done on a 2x7x7 piece of wood.  I used the paint color Tree Frog from Delta Ceramcoat.  The vinyl is just white vinyl, then I sanded the edges of the wood and rubbed it with Walnut Oil Stain.
It is well with my soul.  Love this.  I saw this design on Pinterest and loved it!  My friend asked me to make a vinyl for her and that's when I decided I needed one for my home too.
It is made on a 1x12x18 board and I used the same Tree Frog paint color as above, but did the vinyl as a stencil.  The paint is just white and then I sanded the tar out of the board and inked it with the walnut oil color again.
This Spring Block is my design, it is on a 2x12x14 piece of wood and the paint color I used is Paradise by Delta Ceramcoat.  I inked it with the walnut oil also.
The spring block is reversible, and this is the other side.  I saw something similar on Pinterest to this side of the block and thought I needed it too!  The egg is just scrapbook paper and the Easter is white vinyl.
I know that my Redeemer Lives is done on a 2x4x8, and I used brown paint with white vinyl lettering. I'm working on finishing up a few more things for Easter.  Love craft weeks!

Happy Birthday Block and Cupcakes

Today is my baby's 2nd birthday.  Such a bittersweet day.  I love watching her and my other kids grow and learn, but I hate it at the same time.  It goes by way too fast.  She's super excited about today though, it's her day!  You would have thought that I would have made something like this years ago with my first kid....but I just got around to making it for kiddo #5, and that's ok, my others are still young enough to enjoy it!  :)

The wood is a 2x12x12 block.  I cut the vinyl as a stencil because I wanted to paint the letters different colors.  The two little wooden cupcakes are from The Wood Connection.  I seriously love that store.  I wish they had one here in Texas, but for now I'll just have to be happy with online shopping.  Hehe.  I painted the wooden cupcakes and then glittlered the tops and then glued on the beadboard liners.  I'm super happy with the results!

Happy Birthday Little One!
